Clay Buchholz received a good report from Dr. James Andrews on Monday.
Buchholz, who has been dealing with soreness in his shoulder, wanted the second opinion for "peace of mind," according to John Farrell.
He has not pitched for the Red Sox since June 8. At the time, he was 9-0 with a 1.171 ERA and 1.02 WHIP.
