Bad Contracts Continue!

PG: Wall- 5 years 80 million???
C: Okafor 14.5 M
C/PF: Nene 13.0 M
SF: Ariza 7.7 M
SF: Webster 5.2 M

C: Horford- 12.0 M
SF: Faried- 1.4 M
C: Hibbert- 14.3 M
SF: Paul George- 3.3M
PG: Stephen Curry-9.9M
C: Joakim Noah- 11.1 M

What is the difference between the first group of salaries and the second group? Based on the all star performances of the second group, shouldn't their salaries be swapped with the first group?
Wizards continue to over pay for mediocrity. Sure, Went on a tear the last few games of last season, but does that warrant him and 80 M dollar contract? Where's the savvy businessman in Ernie to wait a little? Where's the negotiations? Remember, Blatche pulled the wool over Ernies eyes a few seasons ago and went on a streak the last few games of the season just to get paid, and then what?

When will the Wiz learn?

This is pretty silly.

Horford has a max-level contract. His amount is lower because he signed it a few years ago when league revenues were a bit lower.

Faried is still on his rookie contract.

Hibbert is on a max contract.

Paul George is on his rookie contract.

Stephen Curry took a discount because of his ankle.

Joakim Noah is a relative bargain -- he got less than his actual worth primarily because he's not a big scorer. Pay in the NBA is largely driven by scoring.

All of the players you list for the Wizards are veterans on their 2nd or 3rd contract, with the exception of Wall, who has another year (at $7.5 million on his rookie contract).
