2013-2014 Bobcats Schedule
According to multiple sites, and NBA TV, the NBA's league-wide schedule is coming out today. I figured we could start a thread to talk about some interesting games on the schedule that we see. I already know I'll be there for the homeopener for whoever we play!
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

They have a preseason game in Asheville that I'll definitely be attending.

Lol. Place only seats 4000. I'll be more than happy to sit in the "upper deck"

well they just got better, looks like we will get their pick for sure now, and when we play them they will probably win

My apologies on this guys. I was positive from the sources I read that the schedule was coming out last week. Does anyone have an idea on when the actual release will be?

After browsing the internet, it is believed to be released on August 6th on a NBA TV special, but I have nothing to really back that up other than a view forum posts

Looks like I'll be making a little trip to Gboro this year. I'm digging this.

Re: 2013-2014 Bobcats Schedule
Okay, so the schedule is out, you can find it here: http://espn.go.com/nba/team/schedule...rlotte-bobcats
I have done some very very quick analysis of the schedule so here it goes...
I decided to split games into one of three catagories, 1) Should Win2) 50/50 3) Probably getting blown out/lost.
Should Win Teams: 76ers, Suns, Magic, Boston, Kings, Utah
50/50 Teams: Pelicans, Cavs, Wizards, Blazers, Bucks, Dallas, Lakers, Hawks, Raptors, Minny, Denver, Detroit.
Should Lose: Spurs, OKC, Heat, Clippers, Warriors, Knicks, Nets, Bulls, Pacers, Grizzlies, Rockets.
So my results were as follows:
The numbers listen below go in the following order: WIN - 50/50 - LOSE
November: - 3 - 9 - 6
December: - 5 - 6 - 4
January: - 3 - 6 - 7
February: - 1 - 4 - 5
March: - 1 - 8 - 7
April: - 2 - 2 - 0
Recap: So it looks like November and December are the best months of the schedule for us, so don't be surprised by a hot start from the Cats, however things get pretty tough after christmas, espeically during January.
So if we add up the "Should Win" with half of the 50/50 games it gives us a figure of: 32.5 wins
This seems probably right in my eyes... Now everyone can go critique the categories I put the teams in, as I said I literally did it in 10 minutes and put little thought into it!

Re: 2013-2014 Bobcats Schedule
We'll be very very lucky to win half of those 50/50 games. Blazers, Hawks, Nuggets, and Pelicans will beat us quite easily. Out of those 35 games, we'll probably win like 10.
I say 25 wins. November and January are going to be bad months.

I read they are expected to finish 28 and 54, but bleacher report wrote an article ranking the most likely team to exceed expectations and don't be surprised if they finish as the 10th seed.

Tired of losing. I'm going to go out on a extremely optimistic limb and say 45-37.

I'll definitely be there for the Nov. 1 home opener against the Cavs! Go Cats!

Once again no nationally televised games. Maybe we will get some after we go on a double digit winning streak in January.

A guess on 21 back-to-backs: Bobcats don't draw well weeknights, so they request as many Fri-Sat home games as possible. Side effect

Are we assuming that Zeller is a 20/10 guy from day 1 and that Kemba turns into Derrick Rose?

Lol to hell with it. Im sticking by my 45-37 no matter what. I just have a great feeling about this upcoming season.

Re: 2013-2014 Bobcats Schedule
I too have a nice feeling about this season. 27 wins and a couple nice ping-pong ball bounces work for me. Remember if we manage to jump in front of Detroit, there is a chance that we would have zero picks in the 2014 1st round.Liver_Pooty wrote:Biz Gilwalker wrote:Liver_Pooty wrote:Tired of losing.
