Red Sox Like Lee, Unwilling To Include Bradley, Bogaerts

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jul 30, 2013 12:28 pm

The Boston Red Sox would like to acquire Cliff Lee from the Philadelphia Phillies, but they may not be willing to include the top prospects required.

The Red Sox inquired about Lee last winter and were told the left-hander wasn't available.

This time around Philadelphia is open to talks, but Boston is reluctant to trade outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. or infielder Xander Bogaerts.

Most overrated pitcher in the game--- You had your chance to win a 'ship with the Yankees and Sox, but choose the team who traded you for Roy Holliday--- Hows that working out?

not every player wants to be in new york or boston. lee joined a great situation in philly, it just didnt work out. dont see how he could ever be called overrated. hes been lights out since his return to philly and a perennial all star since his emergence. his cy young campaign in 08 was nothing short of amazing. in a league full of great pitching, theres not many i would want ahead of lee in any one game.
