Big thing here is that unlike CV and BG... If things don't work out great for Detroit with the Jennings trade he is without a doubt movable... especially when combining him with Stuck and CV... A team like Boston could take all three in a tank effort if that's the route they want to go... or a team like the Raptors if they decide to tank... There will be much more interest in Jennings with 2.5 years left at $8 million a year than there would have been in Knight for a team...
For those of you who don't like the Jennings signing he's only guaranteed to be here for a few months... if things don't work out he is a player other teams who are tanking/rebuilding could have interest in.

Yes it is.
But as of now hes a Piston and I think everything is going to work out... because you know, its healthier that way.

Very tradeable. This is not like CV/BG. 8 mil for a guy of Jennings talent level isn't bad. My issue is the fact that no other team on the market was going to give him that anyway...so Joe outbid himself. The way I see it Jennings has 2 years to make it work, otherwise he becomes an even more tradeable expiring contract.

I'm not sure why so many people believe they need to neglect the ongoing threads to start their own. If you feel like your opinion isn't being heard, it's probably because you're just repeating what's already been said, or it simply isn't good.
Mods need to start locking these threads down. It's gotten ridiculous.

Re: Jennings has a tradable contract...
If the Pistons want to trade him, its becuase he didnt work out with them. After no one wanted him already from his Bucks days what makes you certain that teams would want him after another failure.
I really hope it works out, but if it doesnt, no one is gonna want this guy at that price

Yesterday when I checked Milwaukee had 1 thread about the trade 30+ pages, I came to our boards and our thread had 11 pages, I was like wtf is wrong here, then I realized we had 4 threads to talk about the same subject. Today we probably have 6-7...
It gotten way past ridiculous.

Let's try and keep a few of these condensed, eh?
