Out of all the players that have played for the Hawks, which was the best perimeter defender, based on their performance during their time with our team?

Ooh.

I'm gonna go with former Hawks player, current Utah Jazz coach Ty Corbin.

Mookie Blaylock is a VERY close second.

If not Mookie, I was gonna say Stacey Augmon, but It's been a while since I've paid that close attention to him.

Augmon should have been better than he was.

I will go out on a limb here. Mario West is the best Hawk I have ever seen on the ball...he just sucked at every single other aspect of the game. And no, I didn't start watching the Hawks in the 2000's, I have been watching since around 86.

If we are talking great defenders that actually contributed outside of that one skill then I would go with Mookie.
