Pitcher injuries

Has other teams faced as much pitching injuries as we have the past few years? I feel the amount of tommy John and various strain injuries is becoming unbearable tough to watch.

Are our scouts selecting the wrong pitchers?, are the coaching staff pushing them too hard? Are our doctors making incorrect diagnosis or are our players stubborn and not listening?
