The Los Angeles Dodgers have gone 37-8 since June 22, becoming just the eighth team to run off that many wins over 45 games since 1950.
They are the first National League club to accomplish the feat since the 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers. Los Angeles was 30-42 back on June 21, more than nine games out of first place.
