Need help with my first pick

Post#1 » by tylerceltics » Thu Aug 15, 2013 10:52 pm

I have first pick in a $75 buy in fantasy league where I work. I got stuck with first pick and with how the settings are, quarterbacks by the end of the year are the leaders in points accumulated. Would it be smart with the first pick to take Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers or should I go with the usual Adrian Peterson with the first pick. Draft is sunday so any help or advice would be appreciated.

Adrian Peterson definitely. QB is DEEP this year and there will be plenty of quality QBs there in the 4th and 5th rounds. In my 12 person league RG3, Wilson, Luck, and Kaep all fell to the 4th round. RBs are gonna be tougher to come by. Under no circumstances should you pick a QB in the 1st or even 2nd rounds

AP for sure. Too many good QBs this year.

Plus you have a good shot at getting one of Brees/Rodgers at the end of the 2nd. That's where they're going in most leagues.

I know but you still shouldn't use your 1st or 2nd on Brees or Rodgers, good QBs come at a wayy better bargain than good RBs/WRs

Take All Day if you want a good QB you can still get Brady a few rounds later.

Yeah I think AP will be the pick. The league is crazy though, the person picking 3rd told me he is taking brees with his pick. Means some decent RB's or WR's could fall back to me.

Dont trust people when they tell u who they are going to pick, he is probably trying to bait you into taking a qb so better rb's fall to him
