And the first pick of the 2003 NBA Draft,,, Kobe Bryant

Post#1 » by touchvspice » Mon Aug 19, 2013 6:02 pm

Knowing how competitive Kobe Bryant is, do you think he would've rather been drafted in 2003, so he can battle players like Lebron, Wade, Melo, Paul, etc, instead of 1996?

Excellent, and thought provoking first post. I will come back later to this thread with an appropriate answer once I've wrapped my head around how to approach answering this hard hitting question.

Maybe OP ask what Kobe prefer, being 1984 born & compete with LeBron etc, or being 1978 & compete with Shaq, Shaq, Hill, TMac, Garnett, Pierce, Iverson, Yao, Arenas, Howard, Harden, Durant, n yeah LeBron, Melo, Wade etc also.

If someone were to ask me "what do you mean the quality of posts decreases during the off season/summer?" i'd link them this post.

Lets be damn clear about something Kobe's draft was damn good, id say better than 03, you can argue as the 03 class needed the super friends to happen to even make a mark on the league

Iverson - MVP, scoring titles, multiple all star teams
Camby - DPOY
Abdur-Rahim - all star
Marbury - All Star
Allen - 2 time champ, three point record holder, all star
Walker - All Star, champ
Wright - starter on a playoff team
Kittles - started on a b2b ecf Nets team
Kobe - first small from hs, gold medal, 5x champ, all nba, all star, MVP
Peja - all star, 3 point contest winner, champ
Nash - MVP and all star
JO - 6x all star, most improved player
Big Z - all star
Derek Fisher - 5x champ, NBAPA president, holds record for finals threes
Malik Rose - 2x nba champ as Admirals backup.
