dr. klapper is legit, u can trust him, but he's not breaking any news. kobe told the media he got the green light and all he needs now is to get in shape and get his explosiveness.

Kobe Bryant says he has been given the "green light" to ramp up his workouts to return to game action for the first time since tearing his Achilles last April but isn't interested in committing to any set return date as he completes the final stage of his rehabilitation.

Finally....he'll need some time now to get the other aspects done

Frankly,I'd be ecstatic if he came back in a month but I think it's more likely to expect an early December date

He has a lot to catch up just from the conditioning aspect,let alone spending time on the court for different stuff

It's amazing to see somebody recover so fast from this, especially at that age, but if anyone could do this it would be none other than the Mamba. Hope he gets his full conditioning & takes his time getting comfortable & in shape before he steps back on the court. Early December sounds reasonable.

Does anybody here really believe Kobe will make it for opening night still? I wanna say its no way possible but man its just wouldn't surprise me if he somehow does this. I just want the guy back when he's healthy because we got really only a 2 no more than 3 year window here to get another ring to catch the Celtics with a Pau and Kobe core

Realize until your jumping your not doing anything. That is why this injury has been so tough for basketball players to come back. Other sports not a big deal. Running on it even after just a few months not unheard. The flexibility in jumping is the thing that so tough to regain. Many players say it never came back.

Our November schedule is not easy,there's only a handfull of games we should be definitely winning(although you never know,we might lose some gimmies and win some tough ones)

ill be waiting for the stats without kobe when the lakers go on a 12-2 record. then a thread about how much negative kobe effects the team play. this happens around the second half of every year.

Lol cause you know that thread is coming... I seriously think we start the season 6-4 the 1st 10 games. But wouldn't be surprised if we stole one of the 2 games to start the season and started 7-3. If we can survive the hard November schedule, our December schedule is light and would help us have a chance to start resting Nash and give Kobe time to get his legs back under him

lol ya you know it lee, theyre just waiting with the "I KNEW it was kobes fault"...have some dignity and start the threads now. i hate those masters of the obvious threads. altho its offset with the kobe homers that creates a thread after he goes for 4 straight 30p games at the age of 35...but those are warranted lolol.
