Carlos Beltran suffered a rib contusion while robbing David Ortiz of a grand slam in the second inning of Game 1 of the World Series.
Beltran was taken to the hospital. X-rays were negative and the outfielder is day-to-day.
He struck out in his only at-bat on Wednesday.
