Nuggets fans would have laughed their butts off last year at

this comment by Shaw after last night's game.

"We just kind of lost our mind in the fourth quarter," Shaw said. I think we were fatigued and didn't have the stamina to sustain for the complete 48 minutes.

So, with Ty playing 37 minutes and Miller the next highest at 29, it was the Nuggets who "didn't have stamina" at home??????????????????

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Would help if Shaw climbed a fourteener. Maybe he doesn't quite grasp the need to constantly push conditioning at an even higher level than other cities.

Anyway, the schedule has been very slow to begin. Too many breaks. The team will be forced to run more in this half-court experiment the more games they play. Makes me wonder if back-to-backs will actually be a blessing this year.

Back in the day when they were run and gun, one game would be enough. If you slow it down it's not the same type of conditioning.
