GT: Spurs vs. Jazz

Post#1 » by Nolan » Fri Nov 15, 2013 6:05 pm

When: 9:00 PM ET, November 15, 2013
Where: EnergySolutions Arena, Salt Lake City, UT

Should be another easy one against the 1-8 Jazz tonight. But we can't sleep on them either, they have a talented front court and a good wing in Hayward.

Go Spurs!!

I'm predicting a very close game! (hopes for another blowout after predicting a close game)

It's always tough in Utah no matter who is on their roster. I wish Burke was playing though..

Let's go for the loss. We don't deserve to win this game. No one playing well. Jazz out hustling us at every facet of the game.

Luckily Utah is bad enough that we just had to play a good 4th to win. Jazz can't score consistently so it was only a matter of time.

Exactly. 31-15 advantage in the fourth. We played so bad for 3 quarters but luckily stayed within distance because Utah just isn't that good. They're severely lacking scorers.

Well it wasn't pretty but we had a great 4th and I'll take the win. Good to be 9-1. Glad to see Timmy score some points tonight

Timmy scored 14 but wasn't efficient at all. That's 14 points on 16 shots. 1 FTA for the whole game. Stuffed twice at the rim by Favors. He really needs to put some arc into his shots. They're flatter than it has ever been. Shots he missed are shots that has no chance of going in. I could understand if they're in and out and it's just not falling. But that's not the case. It'll fall if the rim is lowered a foot. Then it'll be a swish.

At this point, Diaw is a better post up player.

And please.. no more Ayres. Give me Matt Bonner. Ayres has been a disappointing acquisition so far. And given his career averages, there was really no reason for him to get anything more than the minimum.
