It didn't take long for the Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers to agree on the blockbuster trade involving Prince Fielder and Ian Kinsler.
The talks only got into gear on Tuesday afternoon when Dave Dombrowski called with an idea.
"We have gone through a variety of scenarios, some more realistic than others. This is something that we had touched on. We hadn't delved deeply into it until yesterday and it picked up speed from there," Jon Daniels said.
