David Ortiz says he thinks his Red Sox will benefit from Robinson Cano joining the Mariners, calling it "great news for us" but a blow to the Yankees.
Ortiz, speaking in an interview with WEEI Radio in Boston, said the Yankees lost "the face" of the team when they failed to re-sign the free agent second baseman, who has reportedly agreed to a 10-year, $240M contract with Seattle.
