A recent thread brought up that our worst defensive lineup included jennings stuckey singler monroe drummond, our best was jennings kcp smith monroe drummond.
jennings monroe and drummond are in both and then you have stuckey who isnt terrible on d and kyle singler as well
Does his 3 pt shooting help us enough on offense to help with his defensive shortcomings ( below average athleticism, tendency to commit ill timed fouls, poor lateral speed ).
In my opinion he hurts us more than he helps us

Does kyle singlers offense make up for his defense

He's our best option at SF, on both ends of the floor right now. His perimeter defense isn't really worse than Smith's, and he can actually hit his jump shots, and is a solid cutter. He's a solid backup 3.

Re: Does kyle singlers offense make up for his defense
If he's on the court at SF with Drummond/Smith inside, I think his offense outweighs his defense, and that starting lineup could work.
If its in place of Smith though, and then it becomes Monroe, Singler, AND Jennings that Dre/KCP have to cover for, then no, a couple extra 3's by Singler won't outweigh all the issues we would have on defense with that lineup, in my opinion.
