Sorry for the OP. We here in Toronto have been deprived of a team that's sniffed .500 for too long and once it does happen, a lot of bandwagon-ing and big heads are the result. Apologies, guys.

the irony is my friend from Toronto who is very well connected has said all along that the plan was to tank. they are playing much better than the front office wanted them to play. I've been telling him that playoff experience is more valuable than ping pong balls but they really wanted a shot at Wiggins who is Canadian.

they are probably a tough match-up for us since they have speed to counter our size, but I'm not worried about them in the playoffs. teams who reach the playoffs for the first time are so happy to be there that they don't have the emotional edge to win. if you reach your goal, it is hard to go farther.

With a name like MVPDerozan I think he is more of a Derozan fan than Raptors. We had a TJ Ford hanger-on a fews years back that followed Ford to our team from yours.

If Derozan ever leaves the Raps MVPDerozan will probably disappear, much like TJFordisGod.
