The Los Angeles Dodgers and Don Mattingly have reached an agreement on a new contract, according to sources.
The extension is expected to be officially announced later this week.
Mattingly was already under contract for 2014. The new contract is believed to cover the next three seasons.
Mattingly managed all of last season without assurances he would remain at the helm beyond this year.
