Masahiro Tanaka is in Los Angeles to undergo a physical ahead of a contract agreement with a Major League club.
Tanaka, 25, has already thrown more innings (1,315) than any pitcher his age in the Majors in the last 35 years.
The results of his medical exam will be released to teams interesting in bidding on the Japanese right-hander.
