Mike Trout has no comment on the status of contract talks with the Los Angeles Angels and a possible $300 million deal.
"I know what you guys are going to ask," Trout said before he was even asked a question. "I'm here to get ready for the season. I don't want to comment on the contract negotiations and stuff. I'm here to just get ready to prepare myself for the upcoming season."
Trout, 22, is widely viewed as the best all-around player in baseball.
"It's just been crazy, and it's still going on,'' Trout said. "As a kid, I always wanted to be here in a place where I could compete in the big leagues. Now I'm here and I'm living it up.''
