Nuisance Birds at Offensive Racial Stereotypes, April 18-20

Friday Apr 18, 7pm ET:

Drew Hutchison (1-1, 3.68 ERA)
vs.
Justin Masterson (0-0, 5.87 ERA)

Saturday, Apr 19, 1pm ET:

Mark Buehrle (3-0, 0.86 ERA)
vs.
Corey Kluber (1-1, 5.40 ERA)

Sunday, Apr 20, 1pm ET:

Brandon Morrow (1-1, 5.52 ERA)
vs.
Carlos Carrasco (0-2, 7.84 ERA)

Cleveland's starters have ugly numbers, with the exception of Zach McAllister and one very good start from Trevor Bauer. The good news? We won't be facing either.

Masterson always seems to pitch well against the Jays. Game 1 is key, if we get it we'll take 2 of 3.

They seem to be using Kawasaki lots for a guy who is expected to get sent down.

When Reyes returns tomorrow, i think Diaz will be replacing him in Buffalo.

Righty on the mound, so Kawasaki makes sense over Diaz tonight.

Kawasaki/Goins both on the squad with a healthy Reyes doesn't make sense because they're both lefties.

Ideally Goins is the odd man out, but it's likely going to be Kawasaki.

Yes, and I have insider information that he'll be sent down if he continues hitting like this.

We got to start taking advantage of these shifts when Rasmus and Lind are up!

I don't care if they never bunted before they need to try just to keep defenses honest.

They get a bunt down and they can walk to 1st base.

Glad to see no walks from Hutch so far.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

lawrie, sierra, goins to round out our line-up, just butt ugly. thankfully lawrie's weak contact nibbler worked out

Goins better be sent down when Reyes gets back. Him having options is probably the one saving grace here.

One player the Jays are really going to miss is Lind. They have to hope Sierra has a hot streak in him.
