Sixers fans big board: Pick #5 (POLL)

Post#1 » by HartfordWhalers » Mon Apr 21, 2014 2:29 pm

#1 was Wiggins
#2 was Embiid
#3 was Parker.
#4 was Exum

On to #5

Again, this is the player you most wish the Sixers would pick f the remainig players, not who you think will go 4th in some mock draft.

Poll choices being filled out by Dx mock draft, but if you want another choice upcoming just make some noise about it.

Im going with Randle here....if he's properly developed, he can become a helluva player.

I want Gordon. Love athletic big guys with a big motor. His skill set is not so bad either.

Vonleh needs to be developed too.

Yeah that's what I mean, properly developed imo, Vonleh has a higher ceiling than Randle.

It's Vonleh here.

Vonleh, then Smart then a cluster of players 7-10.

I have Randle here. Philly would love him. He's a mean SOB. Compliments Noel. Gives our team more attitude.

I had Randle at 4 over Exum for these very reasons. Picked him here again.

This is a tough one, a really tough one and in truth the decision for me realy couldn't be made until after workouts, measurements, interviews, etc.

I love Vonleh and if we had a top four pick, other than Embiid, he would be the guy I try to trade up to get with the Pellie's pick.

Gordon is the second choice for a trade-up.

But at five, if I am going with best player available, at this point, and I could change my mind 600 times before the draft, I am going with Randle. Of the three, he has the best chance to turn into a star that can carry a team. I love the other two much more as very high level complimentary players, but after being on the Randle carousel all year long (love him, hate him, curious about him), I am back on the bandwagon if we get the fifth pick.

I'm going to go a bit against the mold here and say Smart. Vonleh screams bust to me and as I said before this is one or two spots too high for Randle, who I think is going to be a good plate but not elite. Smart comes off as a stud to me and I think BB will handle him nicely and make him fit into his scheme

Went with Randle. I think Randle/Noel would be some nasty gritty big men for us.

Vonleh. I have no faith in Randle. None.

Vonleh is my vote at #5 over Smart. Then I continue to waiver on the Gordon/Randle choice.

You guys who are taking Randle with a top 5 pick :noway: How is that bully ball gonna translate when everyone he tries to bully is bigger than him? Not seeing it. As a bench scorer against 2nd units? Sure. At best Randle is 7 IMHO. He is Thomas Robinson.
