Bordeaux director Alain Deveseleer has played down claims that Zinedine Zidane will become the club's manager next season.
Zidane is ready to become manager after being an assistant for Real Madrid.
Current Bordeaux manager Francis Gillot is set to step down this summer.
Bordeaux, who won the French Cup last season, are currently seventh in Ligue 1. As a player, Zidane helped them reach the UEFA Cup final in 1996 before leaving for Juventus.
