Liverpool went up 3-0 at Crystal Palace on Monday before allowing the home side to score three unanswered goals to essentially allow Manchester City to clinch the Premier League title.
"We got carried away," Brendan Rodgers said "We thought we could score more and we lost our defensive structure."
Liverpool appeared to be chasing the goal differential deficit they were facing against Man City in continuing to attack Crystal Palace.
