David Villa is close to a three-year deal with New York City FC, according to a report from Spain.
Villa went from Barcelona to Atlético Madrid last summer after being unable to return to his pre-injury form. But Villa is 32 and could figure prominently in the MLS for the length of that deal if he stays healthy.
