Lance Stephenson gets in Lebron's head

It's a bummer that Lance looks like he probably won't live up to his athletic potential. He seems doomed to be the next JR Smith.

He has already exceeded what I expected of him. As a second round pick who had a really bad attitude in HS and played really, really selfish ball there I thought he would wash out of the league in 3 years. Him starting for a contending team and being one of its leaders on and off the court far exceeds my expectations.

Instead of going after the loose ball, LeBron tried to moving screen/hold/block Stevenson from getting the ball. LeBron was more worried about Lance than the ball. LeBron would have won the jump.

Won't matter no way the Pacers can win 3 straight on the Heat.

The fact that Lances antics are being compared to Payton or the Bad Boy Pistons shows just how far removed we are from those days. Lance is an immature manchild, not a badass.

In his younger days, he was a bit different, but when you watch him now, the guy is machine-like. There is basically nothing Lance can say that would change the way Lebron plays. These things were fun with MJ and Kobe, Lebron simply doesn't respond.

Lebron is the ultimate pro. Unlike other greats like MJ or Kobe, Lebron doesn't play off emotions. He's a machine. I cant' remember a single time where he got provoked into a 1-on-1 duel with someone - something that MJ and Kobe often went for.

Lance isn't getting in Lebron's head. He's only getting inside his own head. Like people before me have said, Lance is delusional.

You're right, but a machine doesn't know what it's like to humiliate someone. MJ or Kobe would have made it embarrassing for Lance to go in public this summer...a machine would go for a game tying layup and well....pass it out to Chris Bosh.

Exactly. MJ/Kobe would have gone all out on Lance and would have destroyed him on the court. Lebron just ignores it and continues to play his game. Just the way it is.
