So...I didn't know about this, but it seems like Micky has been making Miami's players take pay cuts in order to save himself from getting taxed.

no one is forced to take a paycut to save arison money. it is not even possible to do. once you sign a contract that's it. you can't just go back and say "now you guys gotta take a little less". doesn't work that way.

now they cut miller in part to save money in the luxury tax, but mike is still getting paid. he's just not on the team anymore.

Well from what I understand he's basically been saying something along the lines of, "Don't you wanna win? Then take less money so we can sign blah blah blah." Where in reality it's like, I wanna save money so take these damn paycuts and I'll sign Greg Oden and Toney Douglas.

I understand Lebron not taking a pay cut if it means adding no one, it's basically a given


In the end Mickey would give in because he loves this team. I think this is nothing to talk about.
