Surprised to find this on youtube, it's maybe 20 years old. I remember the game and just dropping my jaw in disbelief.
Any new Spurs fans, enjoy this crazy dunk and any old one's, hope it brings back awesome memories.
A quick glance might make it seem like a regular dunk, but he floats, he reaches a crazy height (even for a 6'8 guy), something rarely seen.

He used to be able to get up there. Elliot's probably one of the most overlooked Spurs of all time.

Young Sean was exciting to watch. The older, not wanting to be there, Sean I saw in person in Detroit, not so much...

Re: Blast from the past - unbelievable height on Sean Elliot
A lot of people do not realize that Sean was the the third pick overall in 1989. Even though the Spurs had drafted David Robinson in 1987, he still had to fulfill his military commitment and did not actually join the Spurs until the same season that Elliot did.
David Robinson and Tim Duncan were drafted number 1 overall.
Sean Elliot was drafted number 3 overall.
All three players were John Wooden award winners.
Elliot was sort overlooked on a team with both David Robinson and Tim Duncan, but he was a hell of a player. His career was cut short because of his kidney problems. It is interesting to note that it was only a few weeks after the 99 finals that he had a kidney transplant. Just think, he was getting treatments before games. Even his teammates did not realize the seriousness of his illness at the time. He did not want it to be a distraction during the playoffs. Can you imagine a player today going through that and keeping silent? And he came back and played before the next season was over and then another complete season.
I remember the night he came back. They were still playing in the Alamodome at the time and there were so many requests for tickets that they opened the upper deck. There were 27,000 people there that night. And when he made his first basket the crowd went wild. The Spurs fans appreciated what he had accomplished.
