Legend.
“We don't see ourselves as All-Stars. We see ourselves as one unit. It's like five fingers on a hand. You can do more damage together as a fist than spread out flat.” ~SHEED

Re: GRANTLAND STORY ON CHAUNCEY
I will always miss and remember billups as one of the best pistons ever.I try not to think about it but the day dumars traded billups and I heard the news,my heart fell into my stomach and I sat there for what seemed like an hour just thinking and couldnt believe he was gone. That was the biggiest mistake in pistons history, not gordon or charlie, not resigning rip,but trading billups.
I was also hoping billups would retire and gores would let him have a front office job and one day take over as GM or even as the next head coach if stan didnt quite work out after his contract, but no,you would think we would learn from history and not let a player/man like billups go twice, but we did and now some other team will snatch him up and make him apart of their history,Just like steve izermen.

Re: GRANTLAND STORY ON CHAUNCEY
Excellent story of perseverance. Reading it again makes me think of all those magical moments from his first season as our pg down to the dominate performance in the playoffs that following year and the years that followed.
Chauncey "Mr. Big Shot" Billups was a class act. We were blessed to have him. I hope our new Colorado product waiting in the wings (Spencer Dinwiddie) proves to be a tremendous steal for us.
