If by the playoffs he's not pretty much there, I'm not too sure. I'd hope by the playoffs, he'd be an automatic 19 and 6 on good efficiency. Next year is when we'll know if he's still a superstar.

Yes he can. He is rusty and playing on an all star team, not the ideal situation for him to thrive. He looks good physically and that is what matters.

He needs to get his timing, awareness, touch, etc... back but that will come with time.

Once he stops thinking out there and starts reacting he can dominate again. I think it will take until all star break for him to be consistently good. But a rusty Rose with this years team will still win.
When it comes to racism, people say: I don't care if they're black, white, purple or green Ooh hold on now: Purple or Green? You gotta draw the line somewhere! To hell with purple people - Unless they're suffocating - then help'em

I think he'll be fine but it's going to take some time. One thing I hope is when he's having trouble at the beginning of the season he concentrates on his floor game and getting his better offensive cast going. Like if he comes out scoring like crap but defending great, breaking down the defense and hitting open shooters I'll be fine because the scoring is going to come around. He's way too talented of a scorer for it not to IMO. I just don't want him coming out trying hero ball because we need a balanced attack with all of the offensive talent we have on the team. This team will be way more dangerous if Rose learns how to pick his spots and take over at the end of games.

I'm still looking at January for him to start playing consistent. He could show flashes before then.

Biggest fear with him always was his athleticism, but he still looked to have his speed and explosion. It's a wait and see game with Rose right now.

Maybe the Bulls don't need Rose to be MVP.This should be the best cast he has had in his career.Gimme 18-8 with killer defense and i'll be fine.

that's a good line.i'd be happy with that. i just want him to play smarter and more efficiently. i'd at least like him to become a competent PnR handler which he has never been, unless you consider pick and dive plays.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

aw **** here we go again
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

Rose played out of his mind the year he won MVP. He's three years removed from that, with basically not much time improve much less play the game of basketball. If he can get back to a level of sophomore level rose we should jumping for joy. IMO, it's going to be roughly 50/50 mental:physical for Rose at this point. If he can get his rhythm and mind right, he will get back to an all-star level. Would I be shocked if he made the jump this year, not really...but also wouldn't shock me if he struggled this year and put up something like 17 and 8 on low percentage shooting. We'll see. I'm a huge Rose fan and have been since he was playing in high school. I wish him nothing but the best. I'm so glad we have Pau to take some of the burden off of Rose. I think Pau is going to be one of the better signings of the offseason, league wide.
