Arsenal will buy Sami Khedira from Real Madrid during the January transfer window for approximately $20 million, according to multiple reports in England.
Khedira was linked to both Arsenal and Chelsea during the summer window.
After being injured during the warm up for the 2014 World Cup final, Khedira has yet to return to the Real Madrid lineup following knee surgery.
Arsene Wenger has been linked with Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvlaho, Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin and Borussia Dortmund’s Lars Bender over the summer as the Gunners failed to bolster the holding midfield role and in defense.
