Jays say recovery time is only 6 weeks, so translating for Jays-injury-management-speak he'll be lucky to pitch before 2016.

But in all seriousness, they did it right quick to maximize his recovery time, which is good. Pitchers are normally resting their arms for a good chunk of time after a season anyways, so this really shouldn't impact his development that much at all.
