Jays say recovery time is only 6 weeks, so translating for Jays-injury-management-speak he'll be lucky to pitch before 2016. :(

But in all seriousness, they did it right quick to maximize his recovery time, which is good. Pitchers are normally resting their arms for a good chunk of time after a season anyways, so this really shouldn't impact his development that much at all.
