What would you folks think of me kicking off a top ten Pistons discussion here? It would be at least loosely modeled on the broader top 100 project in Player Comparison right now.
This post is not for the posting of your choices, just thoughts on criteria, process, etc.
The top 100 project is here, though no Pistons are yet on the list.

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Re: Thoughts on a top ten Pistons of all time mini-project
I'd definitely be interested in being involved in something like this- I think its a great idea.
Could create some interesting discussion, and its something that can keep activity up in the closing weeks of the offseason.
I wouldn't project a great deal of controversy about the first choice, but there could be some question as to who comes after.
I like the idea of listing eligible voters- IE, only people around at the beginning should be able to vote, but I think anyone who voices interest and is a Piston fan should be accepted as part of the activity.
Could either provide a voting window or have a minimum number of votes needed to rank a player.
