Bucs need to get pressure on Hoyer, Glennon play mistake free and Marcus Arroyo get the ball to VJax and Evans.

Correct..

But the million dollar question is whether or not they can actually do this.

Bucs received the ball first and easily moved down the field into the redzone, couldn't punch it in. The Browns blocked the Bucs 37 yd FG. First FG blocked by the Browns in the last 60 games. :banghead:

Browns get the ball, and they also easily move the ball down field, and also couldn't punch it in the endzone. But they did make their 49 yd FG. 3-0 Browns

Bucs 2nd offensive possession, again they easily move the ball down field but can't punch it in. This time they miss a 55 yd FG, just short. :banghead:

Why in the hell did they get rid of Connor Barth????

Browns first possession after Bucs TD, Hoyer picked off by Johnathan Banks on their 2nd play of the drive. Bucs have the ball in the redzone, 3 plays later Glennon throws another INT, again throwing the ball down the middle late. Bucs waste and opportunity to score twice in less than 4 minutes. :banghead:
Glennon's 4th INT in the redzone this season.

Bucs add on a 40 yd FG, and they Browns add on a 44 yd FG before the half. Bucs lead 10-9.

Browns got the ball first in 2nd half, easily moved the ball down field. Bucs D held up and forced the Browns to a FG, until dumbass DE William Gholston was called offsides on the FG try, giving the Browns a first down, in which they scored a TD 2 plays later. 16-10 Browns

That was the Bucs 9th offsides penalty of the season, 2nd most in the NFL. :banghead:

Bucs force a 3 and out on the Browns 2nd possession of the 2nd half, and got excellent field position. A few plays later Glennon throws a 24 yd TD to Evans. 17-16 Bucs

Bucs continue to find ways to lose. Lose 22-17. The entire front office, and coaching staff should be fired! This team shoud just quit playing in the NFL, it's embarrassing to watch.
I can't believe Lovie Smith and Jason Licht have made this team worse than the Morris and Schiano years, but they have. Every player they brought in has been a bust, McCown, Johnson, Verner, Collins, Cousins, Dietrich-Smith, McDonald. That's 7 players who they brought in, have contributed next to nothing for this team. I highly doubt this O Line could have any success at the college level.

This has been a debacle.

Last years team underachieved but I don't know what word you could use to describe this team.

Pathetic, losers, incompetent, reactive in games as opposed to proactive, etc.....

Horrible, boring, expectations of how to lose every game before and during the game.

I am glad that I don't pay money to watch this in person, at least on tv there are options built around the lack of positive expectations.

Lovie may need to make some changes on his coaching staff, specifally special teams coach. In two of the 8 games played, the Bucs have had a blocked punt and a blocked FG in the same game. That's insane! Jason Licht should pay whatever to bring back Rich Bisaccia(currently with Cowboys) to coach the special teams. I also hope Jeff Tedford is able to return to coaching next season as our OC, Arroyo was thrown into the fire with Jeff's ailment, and he really didn't have any play calling expierence.

Lovie and Licht can not make mistakes this offseason like they did with this past one. The Bucs are officially players in the Mariota/Winston sweepstakes, and IMO it is a MUST they draft one of them. I would also look into acquiring a second 2nd round pick in this next draft. I'd call the Dolphins and see if they would trade their 2nd rd pick(#47) for Doug Martin and the Bucs 3rd rd pick(#67). Knowshon Moreno is often injured, on a one yr deal and apporaching his 30's, Miami needs a RB to pair with Lamar Miller.
IF the Bucs are able to acquire a second 2nd rd pick, with those picks I would draft a LT(Corey Robinson South Carolina) and move Anthony Collins to RG, and use the other pick on a DE(Nate Orchard Utah). In round 4 I would draft a SS(Sam Carter TCU) to replace Mark Barron. Next the Bucs should spend some money on FA, I would look into signing DE Cliff Avril, who could be the Bucs only big FA splash, and make a couple of smaller signings to fill depth at DT, OG, and LB(Mason Foster, Dane Fletcher and Brandon McGee should not return next season).

Return to Tampa Bay Buccaneers
