ON THE LAST EPISODE OF MIAMI HEAT BASKETBALL...
For the third game in a row, the Heat put on an offensive display that has not only been impressive, but every player that was on the floor contributed, whether it be points, assists, rebounds, steals – The Heat as a team has been looking solid. The Heat even outrebounded the Raptors, 43-28.
Quietly, Luol Deng has been putting up 15/4/2 on 57% shooting the last 3 games, scoring 18/4/3 1 block, 1 steal against the Raptors.
Dwyane Wade, after having a horrible shooting night going 4-18 for 9 points but having 10 assists, came out looking spry with 19 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 blocks (on Jonas Valanciunas). Keep an eye on Wade’s assists throughout the season!
Bosh after having a great start was quiet in the 2nd half of the game, but ended up with 21/11/4. Bosh so far is averaging 4 assists.
Shawne Williams for the 2nd game in a row, scored double digits and hits 3 3’s, for a total of 16 points, with 5 rebs. That abysmal debut is looking like a distant memory.
The Heat now face the Houston Rockets at home, against the likes of James Harden and Dwight Howard. The Rockets are undefeated, will we give them their first loss, or will we get our first loss? Will Wade put on a show against Harden, showing that he can still be a top SG in this league? Will Bosh, who is averaging 26/11, continue his dominance?
