Gotta laugh at these Philly Fans

Post#1 » by PDay8810 » Fri Nov 7, 2014 6:02 pm

Butt fumble is good, perhaps better that Foles, and will lead Philly deep into the playoffs. Division championship is now darn near in the bag after Dallas lost two games. Funny, our back up QB stinks while their B/U QB won't miss a beat. Week to week league and many philly fans are looking ahead. History has shown huge let downs in philly often when philly fans look ahead to what should be, It don't get any better than philly fansthinking their something.

Me? I think losing Ryans will hurt more than any actually know at this time. But then again.....I never saw philly's defense being much better than any other NFC east team to begin with. Hey...whatever gets Matthews playing can't be good for long.........we'll see

Philly Media...
"One first-half surprise was the relative competitiveness of the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, but both of those teams seem to be coming back down to Earth a bit.

With Mark Sanchez about to take over at quarterback because of Foles' fractured clavicle, the offensive line is as close to full strength as it’s going to get. Expect a big second half from McCoy, an improving defense[/b], and the continued decline of the other NFC East teams. A 6-2 second half seems every bit as likely as a 6-2 first half. That means one more win than I originally expected.

Bottom line: Chip Kelly is a pretty good coach. He finds ways to win, regardless of who is behind center or who the opponent is. Green Bay still looks like a tough place to win, but that Seattle game isn’t nearly as intimidating as it once looked.

we'll see soon enough

What's funny to me is Philly fans started labeling Foles the Greatest QB in NFL History. Now he's chopped liver.

Well I don't get it.

After 61 starts ....for some reason people are believing that Sanchez will become to complete opposite of who he was in the those 61 starts.

Good luck with that.

I guess you and I remember it differently. As I remember some of us me included thought Weeden could hold down the fort for a game or two. I don't recall anyone saying we'd be better off with Weeden over Romo.

The year Foles had last year had Eagle fans doing cartwheels in the streets claiming best ever. Even us homer Cowboy fans never went that far over the ridge on Romo. Sure we thought we had a top ten maybe top 5 QB after his first 1/2 season but never have we even remotely claimed best ever. OK, maybe RomoToDez might have.

I never saw Weeden anything more than a manager...like Sanchez is

I also don't think he's as bad as he was against the Cards 8 outta 10 times

Romo will always have his haters. Part of that is his own doing , I know. As far as Philly, I have only seen them a few times this year. It seems like we have played at the same times or something. I will say- I thought they kicked the cards ass all over the field. Hopefully Philly fans will look back at the end of the yr and talk about that game being the one that killed them. They also beat up on the Giants, which doesn't look all that big now considering the Giants look bad. Sanchez/ Foles- don't really know how much of a difference it will make. Foles has always been able to throw one or two up during a game and it fall the right way for them. Chip Kelly though is a little different. Ii think he just does a damn good job. Hoping Florida comes calling..

I don't know too much about the Zone but I do know DCU calls them a bunch of blind homers. So I'm sure you heard a lot of homer replies there. I consider myself a homer but I'm a thinking homer. Yes I'm a glass half full person but I understand not everything is roses in Dallas.

I suppose they never watched Sanchez in NY. If they had, they'd know he held back a couple of good Jets teams more than anything. Oh yeah, and look at what he was replaced with. I think that should just about say it all.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
