Brent and Okoye update

Post#1 » by Jarntt » Wed Nov 12, 2014 2:01 am

I'm a little confused on the Brent scenario. I didn't think we had to activate him yet, did we? If not, why would we activate him if he isn't yet ready to play? We don't need the LB we cut, but what about a CB? Will be very interesting what we do with Okoye. I'd assume we IR him for the rest of the year if we have to decide on him this week. We are already adding Brent to the mix. How ready is he to be better than what we would be cutting or sitting for him?

I would say the Cb will be Pellerin off the p squad unless they go get a vet. The Brent thing is confusing. I'm assuming they used the IR designated to return with LAwrence. I think there may be two of those though but once they go on it they have to stay a certain time like 6 weeks. II guess they are doing what they did with SPencer the first few weeks. He was on the 53 but not active. I could be way wrong.

Just read up on it. There is only one of those Ir designated to return options. Maybe since his suspension is over we have to do something with him. I'm not sure how they are viewing OKoye though because he has participated in practice

Just read that they have a 3 week window once OKoye starts practicing to see if he is ready for 53. If not then he goes on IR. That should be getting close because it seemed he began practicing a few weeks back. Brent May have been the same way.
