DeMarcus Beasley has announced his decision to retire from the United States' national team.
Beasley will continue to play at the club level, where he is currently with the Houston Dynamo.
Beasley played in the 2002 World Cup at the age of 20 as a winger and eventually resurrected his career as a left back.
