I like the idea but not if it means trading Kosta. Last night line - 11 boards in 15 minutes

My concern on Blatche is his attitude. He cannot bring that headcase mentality to the team or he can find the door and shut it behind him.

I'm not sold on blatche. Like SD said, his attitude is a major concern. Other than that he does have very good natural talent (size/mobility and skill to an extent) and i think he could play next to gasol as backup pf as well as being marc's backup at c. In conclusion, i do think that zbo could have a positive influence on him, after all he's 28 now so if he's ever going to mature this is the time.

In other news, amare's considering requesting a buyout --> http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/236536/Amare-Stoudemire-Weighs-Buyout-Request-After-All-Star-Break. How would you guys feel about him if he becomes available? I'd personally take him over blatche or anyone else available. Yes, he does have his lapses on defense but on the other hand he's an efficient scorer, better rebounder than he gets credit for and he'll get a block here and there. Just a quality player overall and a hard worker. Obviously injuries are a big concern though. Jermaine o'neal could be another option of course, he had a good season last year but like amare an injury concern.

Of course the big question, if you get one of these guys, is: what to do with koufos? Obviously there'll be even less (or 0) minutes left for him. I really like him as a player and i'd prefer to just keep him as injury insurance but realistically, he's expiring and he's a quality big so i suppose he'd have to be traded. I guess i'm getting ahead of things though, let's first see if we get one of them.

I dont want to touch the roster, but sure i love to add a player like Amare. Hes 32, im sure he will not demand minutes, and could bring some versatility. We could be very fast at times, mike, lee, allen/vince, jeff, stoudamire. If we add him, and he will be healty, we have not excuse to make the finals.
Btw i hope to see Jay. Green play today and see if we need Stoud., i think they have some similarities in their game.
Kuofos like i said before, at this time of the year, i keep him and in the offseason make a sign and trade.
