Adam Johnson has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of sexual activity with a girl under 16.
Johnson is 27 years old and plays currently for Sunderland.
Johnson was on Manchester City from 2010 until 2012 after coming up with Middlesbrough.
Johnson has made 12 appearances for the England national team.
