YOUR Washington Bullets are 35-28 AND 4-13 in their last 17 games. With 19 games left in the season, they are 5 games shy of being the 9th seed and 3 games from homecourt advantage in the first round. Which do you prefer? I prefer what gets Ted Leonsis to #FireGrunfeld.

The Wiz haven't beaten the BobHornets since last season. And it doesn't seem like they will Monday night. It looks like another physical loss where the Wizards lose 90-85 or something like that. Mo Williams has been on fire since being traded to Charlotte and has filled in nicely for the injured Kemba Walker. Expect him to go for 40 points with Wall aching and Ramon Sessions on the court.

The downward spiral into obscurity continues. At least they've made me a little money betting against them. :(

Should be a good game. Wall may very well annihilate Mo Williams on the offensive end, so I foresee MKG guarding Wall quite a bit the way he did Reggie Jackson tonight.

Good luck fellas.

Wall ain't doing shyt breh. He's been ass for weeks due to the toll of carrying the team.

Mo is going to cook him something serious.

For everything Mo can do on the offensive end he is just as bad on the defensive end. Reggie Jackson had 23 first half points against him tonight. Killed him. MKG switched on Jackson in the second half and he scored 2. Mo really struggles against quick athletic guards. Wall is probably licking his chops.

Lol. Nah. Was actually given to me by one of our mods on the Hornets board. I always get a kick out of their ridiculous commercials.

Psychologically, two teams heading in different directions.

This could be a beat down win by Jordan's Hornets.

Speaking of different directions they even got changing back to Hornets right. That and building through the draft (Walker, Kidd Gilchrist, Zeller, Taylor, Biyombo are young and improving players) are opposite the Wizards.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why the Hornets always beat us. On paper, we match up really well. We have the bigs to stop Harrington; the Hornets don't stretch the floor to exploit our relatively slow-footed forwards; and they don't have great defenders at the point guard position to contain Wall. But for whatever reason, the Hornets own us. I expect the trend to continue.

The one glimmer of hope is that the Wizards seem to be trying to address the criticism about all the long 2's. They put up 28 3's last game against the Bucks, and 23 3's the game before against the Heat. The only problem is that they shot a collective 32% from that range. If they could get that up to 36-40% or so, while continuing to launch 25+ attempts, they could win.

At least we have a quality backup in Ramon Sessions to step in and give 40 pts or 20 pts & 20 asts if we need it. This means he's a really good player. (cough, cough, cough)...What's this I'm smoking?

There's legitimately a non-zero chance the Wizards don't make the playoffs. If Miami can go 12-8 to close out the season, I can see it happening.

4-13 isn't a random funk the team is in, and I don't see why that win rate can't continue until the end of the year.

Battle of underachieving teams tonight, although Charlotte has been trending better recently. Despite logic, I'm predicting a win with Beal in the lineup.

I am always rooting for a Wizards win. True that the silver lining of each loss is the chance for change.

Confused, is there a mathematical chance we miss the playoffs? If-so, I'm on-board for the tank and house-cleaning. Then-again, I thought/hoped that Ted would clean-house before he snuck-in an EG contract renewal.

If we go 4-15 and Miami goes 12-8, we'd obv miss the playoffs. I doubt we will miss the playoffs, but it's not that crazy if we only finish with 39-41 wins at this point. Who are we decidedly favored against?

@ Charlotte

vs Memphis

vs Sacramento

vs Portland

@ Utah

@ Los Angeles

@ Sacramento

@ Golden State

vs Indiana

vs Charlotte

vs Houston

vs Philadelphia

vs NY Knicks

@ Memphis

@ Philadelphia

@ Brooklyn

vs Atlanta

Two games vs Philly and one vs NYK are lock Ws for us I think, but otherwise I'm not sure we're favored in more than 1-2 more.

Atlanta might be resting all of their starters by then. Also, we'll probably win one of the Sacramento games because they're almost in tank mode. Same with LA. So 6 wins seems pretty likely. Maybe 7.

To miss the playoffs, we need to finish below Indy, Charlotte and Miami - all of whom have just 28 wins with 20 games to go. I'm assuming the worst of those 3 isn't going to do much better than .500 down the stretch, so that means we need 38 or less total wins to miss the playoffs. We're sitting at 35 wins now. I don't think even this team can fail that spectacularly... unless Wall gets hurt.

Right, 3-4 more wins should clinch a playoff spot. They've probably already clinched the 9th seed.
