Liverpool have identified Miralem Pjanic from Roma as a replacement for Steven Gerrard this summer.
Brendan Rodgers is said to be lining up a £21.8 million transfer for Pjanic.
According to Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport, Liverpool are one of several clubs interested in Pjanic, with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain all believed to be keen.
