Agent: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Won't Leave PSG This Summer

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Apr 14, 2015 8:20 pm

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent insists he won't leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Ibrahimovic will miss his club's next four league matches after being suspended for insulting comments he made in an angry outburst at match officials following PSG's defeat in Bordeaux last month in an incident that provoked criticism of the forward from politicians, including French Prime Minister Manuel Valls.

Ibrahimovic still has a year remaining on his contract with PSG.

"Zlatan feels very good in France, in Paris. There is no problem with this country, nor with the French people," Mino Raiola said. "But he thinks the championship must improve, that French football has to be professionalised at all levels, the Federation too.

"He thinks the French system isn't up to the standards of modern football. If you can't say that, then...

"I'm disgusted [about the ban]. It's not fair, but I'm not surprised. I had said that Zlatan would get a four, five or even six-game ban. If it had been a normal player, it would have been one match maximum.

"But because he's an extra-terrestrial, he gets four. Those are the problems of a judicial system which is not transparent in the federations. Moreover, Zlatan apologized."
