Jeff Teague Sucks!

Feel free to merge me to a good home, but I wanted to call special attention to how much I dislike Jeff Teague.

Not only is a dirty cheap shot artist.....

but he's also a pathetic flopper -- doing that ridiculous headsnap every time someone touches him.

One of our bigs needs to give this bug-eyed punk his money's worth on a foul.

I'm somewhat disappointed that nobody has given a hard foul on Teague as payback for that Beal foul.

But the more I think about it, I guess the Wizards are content to let Beal settle the score his own way. It wasn't like Beal was cheap-shotted by some 7-foot goon, in which case I would expect Blair or Seraphin to deliver the response. Beal was fouled by a little guy. Beal can take care of it himself (and he arguably did in a Teague fast break later on).

I think the best way to respond to Jeff Teague's cheap shot is not even notice it. We're the one's getting into Teague's head, not the other way around.

Great satisfaction seeing Teague pick up a technical when Beal had an opportunity to pay him back with a cheap shot but chose to be the bigger man instead.

Would have been nice to reward Teague's head snap back towards the end of the third or beginning of the fourth with another tech.

Flop of the highest order when Nene was defending him, glad to see the refs no call it.

Teague has been terrible in this series, there is no denying that.

I'm confused how you all can act so upset about the Pierce play though. That is clearly a foul. Teague may have embellished it some but it's not like the call was upgraded to a T or flagrant. So what's the fuss about? Don't act like the Wizards never flop. I saw Gooden mimic being hit with a shotgun at point blank at the top of the key in game 3 when a guard barely touched him.

We don't like players who throw wind up blows at our starting SG's head during a high intensity playoff series. Not that much to understand.

Outside of this series I like the Hawks. They were a fun team to watch in the regular season.

Yeah, I don't want to stoop down to their level.

It's like in the Jackie Robinson movie. When Jackie gets beaned in the head, his teammates want to kick the Ps ass, but instead he tells them the best payback would be to get hits off him and beat him legit.

No need to goon it up against Teague. We've dominated his ass plenty, lets just keep doing that.

I can understand the hate for that play and it was out of Teague's character. I've never seen him take a shot at someone like that before.

That still doesn't answer my question about the Pierce play. I have seen Wiz fans making a big deal about the Pierce play long before the Beal play happened. So what's the big deal about it?

It's not a big deal. Nobody is really whining about it. It was a standard issue NBA flop by Teague to make sure he got the call. Pierce did foul him though. No question about it.

The issue is that Teague does the "head snap back" thing over and over and over; the Pierce play is an example where he got hit and is selling it, but he does it reflexively, even when he's not touched. It's blatant, and I'm surprised that the NBA hasn't taken action against him for flopping.

It's not so much that they're playing well as that they're a scrappy underdog story. They're also just shutting the hell up and playing the games, unlike so much of the yapping that comes from other teams. Except for Memphis, I despise every other team in the playoffs. If the Wizards find some way to get to the Eastern Conference Finals and then take it straight to Lebron or Noah (god, could both of them shut the **** up for five minutes?), I'll be such a happy fan.
