When LOVE signs here what we will do??

ok everyone is trying to fire out what to do at 2 in the draft u r forgetting we don't need a big when we sign LOVE.
Love wants to be a laker and it is almost set in stone.
Sign n trade hill for Love. Trade 2 pick to sixers for 3 and Covington.
27 pick draft Darki Johnson c Kentucky.
c---black---Darki--sacre
pf---love--randle---davis--
sf---Covington---randle--
sg--kobe--ellington
pg---Clarkson--buycks--price
and a future trade would randle and Clarkson----- westbrook

Covington would be an interesting get though. I am willing to trade 27th pick for him.

I don't think signing love is the best idea. He's not a good defender and will he be injury prone now?

I would absolutely max out Kevin Love if he's willing to come here. It goes without saying though, that he first needs to be fully cleared by our doctors.

wouldn't trade for kevin love when you can develop randle....whats the point in that 7th pick if you're not going to let him play? thats how busts happen. Give him some run, and let him develop....keep the pick, draft okafor and trade for a SF...sign rondo, and let clarkson come off the bench. Thats all the lakers need to do and theres a good chance they make somewhat of a run in the playoffs

I would sign Love but not at the Max if he wants to come.
He is a good player for Rebounding but will be one of Several pieces needed.

If he wants the Max then, No.

But I would just Trade Randle, but if Westbrook said he is leaving OKC and it is Clarkson and Randle you
have to do it.

Covington I don't know but what does he bring? Never heard of him so he can't be that great.

worry about it when it happens, till then don't make plans for a scenario that isn't guaranteed. Love has NEVER once made any positive comments about coming to LA, not when he was in Minn nor when he got traded to Clev.

If we sign Love then Randle must be traded. We need to choose either one to become our PF of the future. I'd rather trade for Westbrook and sign a top tier athletic SF (DeMarre Carroll, Jimmy Butler)

K Love is a liability on defense... Okafor & K Love down low would be the WORST defensive combination in the league... Plan is simple, draft Russell, RHF, & Upshaw & sign Monroe & Beverly... Dump Young, Hill & Kelly... Still have another $4 to $5 million... Lineup is as follows:

PG: Clarkson (6,4") & Beverly
SG: Russell (6'5") & Ellington
SF: Kobe (6'6") & RHJ
PF: Randle (6'9") & Davis
C: Monroe (6'11") & Black

That team is young, balanced & reflective of today's NBA... We can attack from multiple positions on the court... 4 out... 1 in... Lakeshow baby...

thats a solid lineup. but unless we get a verbal agreement with monroe or any other big, i wouldnt take that risk. id still take okafor over russel minus all other factor such as this.
