50 Win Team eliminations

Really points out how dominant Kobe was, and also how much a joke the east is where LeBrons spent his whole career. Also puts in perspective why he's lost to the west 3/5 times and the big 3 celtics/Dwight magic. Shaq is at 17 btw

2/7 wins are the hawks and bulls from this year. I mean its telling. The spurs twice, the Boston big 3, dirk, and Dwight's magic were all 50 win squads and losses. Will be it interestling to see what the warriors fit on side wise

You can also choose the path of least resistance which is why he will never sign with a west team.

the # would be higher with a few more finals wins ;). Perhaps he's hindered in the playoffs by himself and his team not getting as much exposure to top tier teams as western conference teams usually do, but at some point getting to the finals repeatedly in the east without winning it all is akin to wilt putting up 100 decades back (couldn't do it today, or in Bron's case couldn't do it in the west).

i generally agree though. heard a debate on mike and mike whether 4/6 or 4/4 was more impressive (for example Tom Brady vs Joe Montana). To me, 4 championships is 4 championships and getting close the extra 2 times could give you an edge in that specific regard.

Can't take away what Lebron has accomplished, regardless of conference. He's gotten the crappy Cavaliers into the Finals twice, and suddenly the Heat suck real bad. He's a one man wrecking crew.

No surprise.

Bryant at his best was better than James at his best. No question.

The **** you can't ...Lebron playing in the WC wouldn't have half of the accomplishments he has now in terms of winning games/making the finals

If he's gonna be 2-4 in NBA Finals... along with the TERRIBLE competition in some years

That **** needs to be called out among all the ass kissing

You have to account for the Lockout season with us too. His number is not bad considering he is just 30 but it definitely looks bad for now.

Kobe's is just insane. That's going to stay for a few decades.

nah, you do control it. Lebron chose Miami and Cleveland. you ever heard the old timers say to be the best you got beat the best? he could have gone to the Western Conference.

curious why Shaq is not on that list

That's as artificial as saying Shaq is the best because of the eastern teams he competed against in the finals. Shaq (and Kobe) made their bones against the Western Conference playoffs not the finals.

Shaq is at 17 all time. 14 as a Laker / 3 in the east

So what is the conclusion people are getting from all this? That LeBron sucks?
