When people make these silhouettes they make the mistake of putting too much detail in. The logo has to look good and read in a range of sizes. Also, no gradients and sans serif fonts only for NBA lettering!

West is fine. Why replace him?
If you're asking me who the Mavs best player is, I'd say Luka. A guy like Delon Wright probably rivals his impact though at this stage in his career. KP may as well if he gets his **** together.

Jordan is automatically excluded because his likeness is owned by a corporation.

It wouldn't make sense to choose a player that's still playing, although the Dirk logo is outstanding.

Magic and Bird meant the most to the league's history. You really can't seperate the two for logo purposes, so you'd need to change it up some.
