Finals MVP...Andre Iguodala?

Post#1 » by dockingsched » Fri Jun 12, 2015 3:44 am

If the Warriors end up winning the title, and right now they should be the favorites with 2 of the last 3 at home, I think the player most deserving of the Finals MVP trophy is Andre Iguodala. He's been tasked with being the primary defender on Lebron and he's been consistently good to great each game offensively.

Thompson has been subpar and Curry was a non factor for long stretches as well. LeBron is having the type of series that may get writers to vote for a player on the losing team, but is it great enough?

All things considered at this point its gotta be Iguodala thats in line to get it.

It'd be a travesty if he didn't. He's the only Warriors player that isn't playing scared.

Iggy been the most consistent player in a Warriors jersey, but he'll have to pull off some 2013 Danny Green craziness to take the trophy away from Curry.

Actually danny green starting choking and spurs lost the series, I think you mean he needs to NOT pull a danny green to do what danny green almost did?

He has been the Warriors best player in the Finals. He should win it if they win the title.

He's been their MVP so far, so it's not a stretch to say if they win he is. But the media votes on that award, so the most deserving won't always win

Curry still gets it. At the end of the day they'll just give it to whoever averages the most points and that's still gonna be him even though he's been subpar. If anything the Warriors coaching staff should get MVP.

I don't know, Curry's fail has reached the point he is being openly mocked now. Giving him the FMVP would be kind of embarrassing.

If the series ends 4-2 for the Warriors and Curry doesn't step up Iggy is the MVP. He's been the best Warrior without a doubt.
If the series ends 4-3 then you can make a case for LeBron.
It's too early to say though, final games weigh more that the first ones.

There's still time for Curry to have big games and NBA would never give Iggy MVP imo.

If he keeps this up, absolutely. The job he's doing on LeBron is tremendous.
