Sorry this isnt the same as who do we pick thread but i wanted have a discussion on this position. More often then not picking 2nd has NOT fared well for alot of teams....from the likes of Darko, Thabeet, D. Will....the last one Parker looked good till his injury but that sort of injury could derail ones career as well. So with that said do you guys put any weight into the past and have concerns with our #2 pick?

I won't sweat it too much. Zo, KD, LMA, GP and JKidd all drafted 2nd.
Other Notables in the recent and not so recent History: Steve Francis, Mike Bibby, Tyson Chandler, Marcus Camby.
Of course there are also the disappointments that you mentioned but nothing worse than what happened to Len Bias and Jay Williams.
